WHO WE ARE Messiah’s Lighthouse is a fellowship of Jews and Gentiles who believe that Yeshua/Jesus is the Messiah promised by God in the Tanakh, the Hebrew Scriptures. We believe He came to bring redemption, forgiveness of sins, to all that believe in Him. We celebrate the Biblical holidays of Passover, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot, Hanukkah, etc. We pray for Israel and we endeavor to help Gentiles learn about the Jewish roots of their faith.
We are establishing a local Messianic Jewish congregation for the purpose of Bible Study, Worship, Fellowship and Witnessing. We invite you to join with us as we learn about God, the Bible, Israel, and the message of Redemption through Messiah Yeshua/Jesus.
SHABBAT MEETINGS: Our weekly Shabbat service meets Friday’s at 7:00 p.m. Please call or email for current meeting location.

MISSION STATEMENT: Messiah’s Lighthouse exists to bring the Good News of Messiah Yeshua to Jewish people in New York City and beyond, and to make disciples of believers in Yeshua/Jesus.
Be a Seeker for Truth! Messiah’s Lighthouse is led by Abraham Sandler and his wife Janet. Abe was raised in an Orthodox Jewish home and was Bar-Mitzvahed at 13.
Often while observing Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, Abe would wonder if God was hearing his prayers and forgiving his sins. There was never any assurance of sins forgiven only an “I hope so.”
While in his mid-teens he was challenged to examine the Tanakh, the Jewish Scriptures, on the issue of “Who is Jesus is he the promised Jewish Messiah?” His first response to the question was one of anger that someone would even make such a suggestion. However he decided to be a seeker for truth and began his search.
The following passages from the Tanakh helped Abe come to come to the conclusion that, yes, Yeshua, Jesus, is the promised Jewish Messiah.
Messiah to come from the City of David,
Bethlehem Micah 5:2 (1)
Messiah would have a miraculous birth
Isaiah 7:14
Messiah would suffer and die for our sins
Isaiah 53
Messiah would die by crucifixion Psalm 22
Messiah would come before the second
Temple would be destroyed Daniel 9
