Dear Members of the Reverend Andrew Leung Family,
On behalf of the leaders of Alliance Missions (formerly International Ministries), I would like to express our sincere sadness at the news of Reverend Leung’s passing. He will be missed. In this time of sorrow, please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Let’s take deep comfort in the fact that Pastor Andrew is with God now and all that have gone before him. He lives on, not only in our memories, but literally in the presence of our heavenly Father, for Scripture assures us that “to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord” (2 Cor. 5:8).
In Proverbs 11:30, it is written “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; the one who wins souls is wise.” Rev. Leung invested his years wisely. Rev. Leung and Mrs. Leung were pioneers-giving many years of service to our King in unchartered territory. Today the individuals they helped shape and formed and the leaders who were called into service because of his influence endure as life-giving trees. They are bearing and multiplying fruit that will last throughout South America and the utter most parts of the world! In all of this, Rev. Leung was a credit to his family, The Christian and Missionary Alliance, and the Lord he served so well. So, more than we mourn the news that Pastor Andrew has died, we thank God that such a man lived.
Alliance Missions of The Christian and Missionary Alliance is truly grateful for Reverend Leung’s dedication and 31 years of faithful service to God for the furtherance of His kingdom and glory in Suriname, Panama and here at home.
We pray that you will be encouraged, and your hearts will be blessed. May you sense His comfort and peace during this time.
On behalf of Alliance Missions,
Timothy D. Crouch
